It can be either a blessing or a curse

ILLUMINATION

Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” ― Martin Luther King Jr

Ignorance is like a coin. It has two sides that are drastically separate from one another.

I’ll try to explain these two sides with a sample case.

CASE ONE: A person has been continuously irritating you for a long time and is causing problems for you and is leading you to mental agony and instability. In this case ignoring the particular person is good and the best possible way to keep yourself from losing your mental stability without engaging in a conflict. There is nothing to feel bad about doing this. This can be considered an act of self defense.

Now lets come to case 2

CASE 2: A person has been continuously asking you for something or asking you to do something which is very important for him and is pivotal from his perspective. You do not bat an eye to his difficulties and continue to ignore him and cause him further tension and agony because you think the individuals particular task is not important from your point of view. This type of ignorance is not right and is a very evil thing to do.

So as a conclusion what I'm saying is that ignorance is a coin which is balanced on a delicate scale. One wrong move and the coin will flip to the negative side and you will be hated by that person for the rest of his life. If you think one person’s hate is nothing then you have to know that over time the number of people will add up against you and you will be left alone isolated and cut off from everyone.

So the next time you chose to ignore someone think a thousand times if you're doing the right thing. If you're confident that you are then go on if you're not then you need some serious time to think and come to a proper conclusion before jumping the gun.

Hope this article was a good read!
