A World Without Hope
The world misses its point of existence
There are a lot of fundamental things missing in todays world, but the most fundamental and basic things missing is hope.
In todays world people are so selfish that they only care about themselves. The people who try to help are not able to do so on a large scale because of their own problems.
Meanwhile the rich if they wanted to could have made the world a much better place but instead chose to help a few people in front of a camera and then disguise themselves as false messiahs who give false hope. This type of false hope only creates a mirage for the people. It doesn't give any real hope for people to live.
Now, think what hope does a average person living in Nigeria have? The main hope is to secure basic necessities for his/her family. Isn't it? But is that real hope? When you have real hope you will have something to follow.Something or someone who gives off the vibes “Everything gonna be alright”.
But there is seldom something or someone who gives that type of vibes especially in todays world. For example: In India when there is a car crash, people come running and then just stand there and don't help. This causes a loss of hope for the person who was in the accident.
If the person in the accident was someone they cared about would they do the same? The answer is no. People don't have the sense of giving hope to others anymore they only care about themselves.
Now what is the main institution which is supposed to give hope? Its the government. Well what does the government do? Rob and cheat the very people who elected them make fake promises and increasing their hopes and in the end those individuals in the government take what they want and leave the people in the same old situation. This is a massive loss of trust and Hope.
Conclusion: Hope is the driving force which helped humanity progress and achieve wonders. If there was no hope we wouldn't be where we are now. Without it we have no reason to live in this world. We must realize this as soon as possible and restore it or else the fundamental cornerstone of humanity would be lost forever.
Humanity isn't just a word. It has a meaning which we all should understand.
